Behind Véra Atchou's lens, woman appropriates her own body. Once the object, the body here becomes the subject. A body which flows with desire, authenticity and brilliance. Hands run sensuously over wet skin. Bodies arch, lean, reach out towards this intense thirst for beingthat sublimates the desire only to please. Fully present within her body, woman moves in an essential nudity in which the force of desire is expressed in every gesture and issues from every pore. Profoundly feminine.

The photographic nudes of Matthieu Spohn are invested with grace and sensuality. His art is all in his use of blurring, shadows, curves, skin textures. He also posseses a unique talent for sculpting the human form. Sometimes dense, sometimes uncluttered, his compositions are always very subdued. After the shoot, he occasionly feels the need for further work on the resulting image such as scratching or soaking it in order to obtain unusual textures. The result is plain to see: series of photos that are very diverse- as much by the techniques employed as by the lighting, the poses and the format used. A collection that is vibrant, highly polished, and which thoroughly explores the human form and its body language.
