For even further interference mitigation, the antenna dish can be mounted for vertical or horizontal polarization. The smartBridges multi-band antenna leverages the benefits of the unlicensed bands to new heights.

Features
  • Multi-band coverage using one antenna to cover all frequencies ranging form 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 4.9 GHz to 5.85 GHz.
  • Sharp main lobe with suppressed side lobe minimizes interferences while increasing link efficiency to provide outstanding data throughput.
  • Easy interchangeability of polarization with continuous elevation and azimuth adjustable mechanism allows proper antenna alignment for maximum performance and signal throughput.
  • Compact and light weight, the high grade spun aluminum reflector gives maximum parabolic accuracy for more consistent and reliable antenna performance.
  • Includes a mounting arm for easy pipe, wall, rooftop or tower pole mounting.
  • Durable design and increased capacity for heavy wind load reduces antenna misalignment.

Multi-Band 17/15 dBi Panel Antenna, 2.4 GHz and 5.x GHz

The multi-band 17/15 dBi Panel Antenna provides a point-to-point reception and transmission of linearly polarized signals. The antennas are specifically designed to complement the smartBridges’ family of Nexus based wireless backhauls and client devices – the airHaul Nexus and airClient Nexus. The rugged antenna transmits frequencies ranging from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and 4.9 to 5.85 GHz (UNI-I, II, III) simultaneously, eliminating the need to have two separate antennas on the tower. The antenna perfectly complements the smartBridges Nexus multi-band radios to achieve 27 non overlapping channels*, an industry first. The smartBridges multi-band antenna leverages on the benefits of the unlicensed bands.
The antenna wire elements are suspended in air, providing higher efficiencies and lower loss than typical panel antennas which are constructed of a PCB material. This means that for a given antenna size, the suspended wire elements utilized in the Nexus TOTAL products will provide higher gain and flexibility than competing technologies. The wire elements are also immune to the kinds of dielectric changes experienced when antennas made from PCB material are exposed to moisture. This gives improved performance stability over time and in various operating conditions. The wire element structure is also more cost effective than a typical PCB antenna of the same size because of the high processing and material cost of the Printed Circuit Board. The wire element antenna offers high gain and tight beam widths in a compact package. Horizontal and vertical balanced polarity performance offers the user more installation flexibility. Good front to back and cross pole rejection performance assures good bit error rates even in noisy environments.
For added interference mitigation and flexibility, the panel antenna can be rotated 90 degrees to achieve either horizontal or vertical polarization. Good front to back and cross pole rejection performance assures good bit error rates even in noisy environments. The antenna has a horizontal and vertical plane adjustment mechanism for easy path alignment.

Features
  • Operating in the license free 4.9 to 5.85 GHz with gain 17 dBi and 2.4 to 2.5 GHz with gain 15 dBi, the panel antenna is the ideal fit for point-to-point links in enterprises, MDU/MTUs, hotels and neighborhood wide WISP networks.
  • The antenna perfectly complements the smartBridges Nexus multi-band radio products, to achieve 27 non overlapping channels*, an industry first.
  • 18/28 degree horizontal and vertical beam width allows the use of one antenna for both horizontal and vertical polarization.
  • Good front to back and cross pole rejection performance assures good bit error rates even in noisy environments.
